NEW DELHI: Telecom operator Airtel has revamped two of its postpaid plans. The One Airtel postpaid plans enable users to combine various connections like mobile, broadband, DTH services under one bill. The telco has revised the Rs 1499 and Rs 1999 One Airtel plans and now both the plans offer unlimited data.
The Rs 1499 One Airtel plan combines the broadband and postpaid mobile services under one bill. The plan allows users to give 2 postpaid connections and offer 75GB data. Users also have the benefit of unlimited calling. The plan also offers fiber and landline services with unlimited internet at 200 Mbps speed. Along with this, the customers will also get a 1-year subscription of Amazon Prime Video and Airtel Xstream.
On the other hand, the Rs 1999 One Airtel plan combines four services in one bill. The services include mobile, broadband, landline and DTH service. Under this plan, Airtel postpaid users will get 3 postpaid connections with 75GB data and unlimited calls. The customers are also allowed to add TV channels of up to Rs 424 in the plan. It also provides fiber and landline services with unlimited internet at 200 Mbps speed. And this plan also offers a 1-year subscription of Amazon Prime Video and Airtel Xstream.
Recently, Bharti Airtel chairman Sunil Bharti Mittal hinted at an increase in mobile services prices in the next six months. He said that 16 GB data consumption a month for Rs 160 is a tragedy. Mittal also said that the average revenue per user (ARPU) is expected to cross Rs 200 in six months on digital content consumption. ARPU is the measure of revenue generated per user for a telco.
