Samsung is soon expected to launch a handset with Galaxy S20 FE moniker and over the months, there have been leaks to suggest the presence of such a handset. Now, according to a report by Android Authority, the company has posted the upcoming phone on its Philippines website.
Tipster Evan Blass too has listed the render images of the device in two colour options — Cloud Navy and Cloud Lavender — revealing certain design details of the handset such as a centrally placed punch-hole selfie camera and a triple rear camera setup on the top left corner.
As per the report, the handset will come with the model name G780F and offer 128GB storage and dual-SIM support.
Reports about Samsung launching a special Fan Edition (FE) have been rife since June and last week, a report by WinFuture claimed that it will be “even better equipped than the normal Note 20.”
As per the report, the Galaxy S20 FE is said to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC for the 5G version of the model. The 4G model on the other hand is said to come powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 990 SoC.
The model is expected to feature a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display of FHD resolution and 407ppi and 120Hz refresh rate.
For imaging duties, the Galaxy S20 FE is said to house a triple camera sensor on the back comprising a 12MP main sensor (f/1.8 aperture), a 12MP wide-angle camera with 123-degree field of view (f/2.2 aperture) and lastly an 8MP sensor (f/2.0 aperture).
Alleged to be backed by a 4500mAh battery, the handset is expected to be available in White, Blue, Orange, Lavender, Green and Red colour options.
